Maeve Glass... both of her parents Cecil and Pam were born in Dublin, IRL... she was 14 years old when she started playing soccer for Dunbar SA... she carried the Olympic torch in the lead up to the Montréal 1976 Summer Olympics (from Ottawa across the river to Hull)... her mother served as public relations director for Vancouver Whitecaps FC...

recipient of Canada Soccer’s Aubrey Sanford Meritorious Service Award in 2022...

served as Canada team staff at four Women's Olympic Football Tournaments (Beijing 2008, London 2012, Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020/2021), three FIFA Women’s World Cup (Germany 2011, Canada 2015, France 2019) and one men's FIFA World Cup (Qatar 2022)… notably helped Canada win back-to-back Olympic Bronze Medals and then an Olympic Gold Medal at Tokyo 2020/2021...
