Canada Soccer’s Futsal National Team is hosting a 20-player camp in Montréal, QC from 30 November to 5 December. The camp is an opportunity for the wider player pool to come together for the first time since the Concacaf Futsal Championship in 2021.

Head Coach Kyt Selaidopoulos has introduced 16 new players to the Futsal National Team Program with an eye towards the next FIFA Futsal World Cup still two years away in 2024. Returning players are Daniel Chamale and Safwane Mlah from the last Concacaf Futsal Championship in 2021, former Canada Soccer Futsal Player of the Year Luis Rocha, and goalkeeper Alexandre Cameron.

New to the program are former Futsal Canadian Championship winners Jason Alvarado, Ansoumane Camara, Aylan Khenoussi and Loïc Kwemi as well as Sebastian Castello, Baldwin Cerros, Montacer El Harchali, Nathan Goulet, Noah Jensen, Ameer Kinani, Franz Mella, Niko Myroniuk, Yassine Saad, Obeng Tabi, Yann Toualy and Callum Weir.

This will be the third cycle for Selaidopoulos in charge since 2016. In that time, he has posted an international record of five wins, three draws and five losses.
