Janine Beckie | #CANWNT & Manchester City FC (England)
Janine Beckie scored three goals and two assists at the international level in 2019, including Player of the Match honours for Canada’s home win in May against Mexico. The Canada Soccer Player of the Month in September, she became just the second Canadian to score a hat trick in UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Kadeisha Buchanan | #CANWNT & FCF Olympique Lyonnais (France)
Kadeisha Buchanan earned Player of the Match honours in both an away victory over England and the opening day victory over Cameroon at the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019. At the club level with FCF Olympique Lyonnais, she won her third Championnat de France, her second Coupe de France, and her third UEFA Women’s Champions League title.

Allysha Chapman | #CANWNT & Houston Dash (USA)
Allysha Chapman made 12 international appearances for Canada as a fullback in 2019, taking part in her second FIFA Women’s World Cup at France 2019. At the club level, she made 14 appearances for the Houston Dash in the National Women’s Soccer League.

Sabrina D’Angelo | #CANWNT & Vittsjö GIK (Sweden)
Sabrina D’Angelo made two international appearances for Canada in 2019, including a second-half shutout against Nigeria in April. The Canada Soccer Player of the Month in August, she helped her club Vittsjö improve 15 points in the standings in her first season in the Swedish Damallsvenskan.

Jessie Fleming | #CANWNT & UCLA (USA)
Jessie Fleming scored two goals at the international level in 2019, also earning Player of the Match honours in Canada’s second win at the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019. At the club level, she has helped the UCLA Bruins reach the Elite Eight in the 2019 College Cup.

Jordyn Huitema | #CANWNT & Paris Saint-Germain FC (France)
Jordyn Huitema made 10 international appearances for Canada in 2019, also making her FIFA Women’s World Cup debut at the senior level in France in June. At the club level, she turned pro with Paris Saint-Germain FC and has already scored her first four goals in UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Stephanie Labbé | #CANWNT & NC Courage (USA)
Stephanie Labbé tied a national record with eight clean sheets in 2019, including two at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in June. The Canada Soccer Player of the Month in October, Labbé helped her club NC Courage win both the NWSL Shield and NWSL Championship.

Ashley Lawrence | #CANWNT & Paris Saint-Germain FC (France)
Ashley Lawrence was Canada Soccer’s Player of the Month in June for her performance at the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019, including Player of the Match honours in the Round of 16. She led Canada with four assists at the international level. At the club level, she has played for Paris Saint-Germain FC in France and UEFA Women’s Championship League.  

Sophie Schmidt | #CANWNT & Houston Dash (USA)
Sophie Schmidt played in all 15 of Canada’s 2019 international matches and scored the winning goal against Nigeria in April ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019. At the club level, she made 18 appearances in her first season with the Houston Dash in the National Women’s Soccer League.

Desiree Scott | #CANWNT & Utah Royals (USA)
Desiree Scott made 13 international appearances for Canada in 2019, earning Player of the Match honours in a 0:0 draw with Spain just before the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019. At the club level, she made 17 appearances as Utah Royals FC finished sixth in the NWSL standings, just four points back of a playoff spot.

Christine Sinclair | #CANWNT & Portland Thorns FC (USA)
Christine Sinclair led Canada with six international goals in 2019, moving to within two goals of the all-time international record with her 183rd career goal. At the club level, she scored nine goals as the Thorns finished third in the league standings.

Shelina Zadorsky | #CANWNT & Orlando Pride (USA)
Shelina Zadorsky started 14 of Canada’s 15 international matches in 2019 at centre back, including nine of Canada’s 10 clean sheets on the calendar year. At the club in the NWSL, she played 16 matches for Orlando Pride and finished third on the team with 1,440 minutes played.
