U-15 Cup moves to championship format after day three in Edmonton

After two games each, Ontario, Alberta, BC, MB/NL and Quebec have all earned full points to top their respective groups and move into the U-15 Cup championship round on day four. Four teams from the Boys and Girls side of the draw will move into the consolation round to play for ninth place.
Boys’ U-15 Cup
Group A - Milton Magic (ON) 3:1 (BC) Vancouver Island Wave
Milton Magic win Group A after a goal from Cristian Alfieri (19’) and a brace from Marcus Riviere (31', 42'). A late goal by BC’s Nicola Mesiano (65') wasn’t enough for the British Columbians.
Group B - St. Albert Impact (AB) 2:1 (PE) PEI FC
Ali Yildiz (28') and Felix Mutuyemungu (70') scored for the Albertans who move on as the winners of Group B. Tony Nguyen (51') scored for PEI who remain in medal contention.
Group C - Winnipeg Bonivital SC (MB) 1:0 (NL) Feildians AA St. John’s
A first half Samuel Fuss (5’) goal was enough to ensure Manitoba would head to the championship round on day four. Feildians also go as the second place Group C finisher.
Group D - CS St-Laurent (QC) 5:0 (NB) Moncton Codiac SC
Maleek Manswell-Nicholls (2'), Jean Michel Ngue Fotso (43'), Thomas Khairy (56'), Nazim Bouzaza (63'), Franck Loic Goufo Zoumessi (65') moved Quebec into first place in Group D with goals against New Brunswick.
Girls’ U-15 Cup
Group A - Surrey United SC (BC) 1:0 (NB) CS Dieppe
Bailey Doerksen’s (39’) goal earned the three points for British Columbia and moved Surrey into first place in Group A.
Group B - AS Brossard (QC) 2:0 (SK) FC Regina Bluestars
First half goals from Brossard’s Émilie Grondines (27') and Léa Capistran (35') secured the three points and first place in Group B for Quebec.
Group C - Calgary Foothills WFC (AB) 4:1 (MB) Winnipeg Bonivital SC
After Jillian Marshall (11’) gave Manitoba a 1:0 lead, Calgary’s Isabel Monck (34'), Emma Nicholson (60'), Kate Stordy (70'), and Camille Proulx (70') stormed back with four goals for Foothills to secure top spot in Group C.
Group D - Oshawa Kicks (ON) (NS) Suburban FC
Ontario’s Mackenzie Scott (5'), Kate Bemrose (33'), and Nicole Painchaud (72') scored for Oshawa who win Group D. Suburban’s Sophia Zykova (25') tied the game up in the first half, but, even an Ontario own goal by Greven Rodrigues (70') wasn’t enough for Nova Scotia.
