William Milligan... he moved to Regina, SK in 1913... served with the 11th Canadian Reserve Battalion in the Great War... he was 17 years old (on his birthday) when enlisted for the Canadian Over-Seas Expeditionary Force on 25 March 1916 in Winnipeg, MB... worked as a printer... as noted in 1927 in the Toronto Telegram, Milligan was “another clever player who can give a good account of himself in any position forward, except centre”... as described in 1927 after a match in New Zealand, “a player who is at home at any position in the field”...
