Drew Ferguson... both of his parents were born in Winnipeg... grew up participating in soccer, athletics, basketball, volleyball, baseball... he was five years old when he started playing soccer for Powell River Lions... growing up, favourites included Pelé, George Best, Alan Best, Liverpool... grew up just down the street from future pro hockey player Gary Lupul... earned his Canada Soccer Coaching B Licence in 2006...

an NASL Indoor Season winner with Vancouver Whitecaps FC (1981-82)... a Canada Games winner with British Columbia (1977)...

wrote the Vancouver Whitecaps in 1979, “an aggressive, forward-going midfield player”... wrote the Edmonton Drillers in 1981, “a will to run and strong legs enable him to cover a large area of the field and get to the ball quickly”...
