Janine Beckie | USA / Sky Blue FC | ENG / Manchester City FC
Janine Beckie scored four goals and two assists in 11 international matches in 2018, also winning a Concacaf silver medal in October. At the club level, he spent the first part of the year playing for Sky Blue FC in the NWSL. He then joined Manchester City FC, scoring her first goal in England on 26 August.

Kadeisha Buchanan | FRA / FCF Olympique lyonnais
Kadeisha Buchanan played nine international matches for Canada in 2018, including Player of the Match honours in February at the Algarve Cup. She was part of Canada’s Concacaf silver-medal winning team in October. At the club level, she won both the 2017-18 France Championship and 2017-18 UEFA Champions League.

Allysha Chapman | USA / Houston Dash
Allysha Chapman played 10 international matches for Canada in 2018, earning Player of the Match honours for a home friendly in Ottawa. She was part of Canada’s Concacaf silver-medal winning team in October. She split her NWSL campaign between NC Courage and Houston Dash.

Jessie Fleming | USA / UCLA
Jessie Fleming scored three goals and two assists in nine international matches for Canada in 2018, including Player of the Match honours in Canada’s 7:0 win over Panama to qualify for the FIFA Women’s World Cup. She was Canada’s Player of the Match in the Concacaf Women’s Championship final and named to the tournament’s Best XI.

Stephanie Labbé | SUE / Linköpings FC
Stephanie Labbé made nine international appearances and posted four clean sheets, including a 7:0 victory over Panama to qualify for the FIFA Women’s World Cup. She also played for Linköpings FC in the Swedish Damallsvenskan as well as 2018-19 UEFA Champions League.

Ashley Lawrence | FRA / Paris Saint-Germain FC
Ashley Lawrence made 12 international appearances and led Canada with 990 minutes played at the international level in 2018. She also helped Canada win a Concacaf silver medal in October. At the club level, she helped Paris Saint-Germain win the Coupe de France in May.

Nichelle Prince | USA / Houston Dash 
Nichelle Prince scored four goals in 11 international matches in 2018 while also co-leading Canada with four assists. In October, she earned Player of the Match honours in a pivotal match against Costa Rica and helped Canada win a Concacaf silver medal. At the club level, she played for Houston Dash.

Rebecca Quinn | USA / Washington Spirit 
Rebecca Quinn scored two goals and one assist in 11 international matches for Canada in 2018. She won a Concacaf silver medal and was named to the Concacaf Women’s Championship Best XI. At the club level, she was a pro rookie with the Washington Spirit after being selected third overall in the NWSL Draft.

Sophie Schmidt | GER / FFC Frankfurt
Sophie Schmidt co-led Canada with four assists while playing in all 12 of Canada’s international matches on the 2018 calendar. In October, she helped Canada win a Concacaf silver medal. At the club level, she played for FFC Frankfurt in the Frauen-Bundesliga and reached the quarter-finals of the German Cup.

Desiree Scott | USA / Utah Royals
Desiree Scott made six international appearances for Canada in 2018, earning Player of the Match honours in a 2:0 win over former FIFA Women’s World Cup winners Japan. At the club level, she made 21 appearances for first-year club Utah Royals FC in the National Women’s Soccer League.

Christine Sinclair | USA / Portland Thorns FC
Christine Sinclair led Canada with eight goals while playing in all 12 of Canada’s international matches on the 2018 calendar. She also scored the winning goal that qualified Canada for the FIFA Women’s World Cup. At the club level, she captained Portland Thorns FC to the NWSL final and scored nine goals in the regular season.

Shelina Zadorsky | USA / Orlando Pride
Shelina Zadorsky made 11 international appearances for Canada in 2018, also recording one assist in a victory over Cuba. She helped Canada win a Concacaf silver medal in October. At the club level, she played in 23 matches for the Orlando Pride while leading the club with 2070 minutes played.
