Three Canada Soccer Referees officiate Concacaf Men’s Under-20 Championship Final

There were three Canada Soccer Referees that officiated the final of the Concacaf Men’s Under-20 Championship Final between USA and the Dominican Republic.

Drew Fischer, Chris Wattam and Pierre-Luc Lauzière took charge of the final match as referee, assistant referee and assistant VAR official respectively. The match ended 6:0, with the USA taking the Concacaf crown.

Fischer has served on the FIFA List of Referees since 2015 and has been on the Canada Soccer List since 2007. He was most recently selected to be a video match official for the men’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Wattam has served on the FIFA List of Referees and Assistant Referees since 2018 and has been on the Canada Soccer List since 2014. This is his second Concacaf Men’s Under-20 Championship, after officiating the 2018 tournament in the USA.

Lauzière was selected to the FIFA List of Referees and Assistant Referees in 2021 and has been a Canada Soccer List referee since 2016.
