Canada wins 1:0 over Northern Ireland in an away Men’s International Friendly match at Windsor Park in Belfast. Canada plays a man down after Gabriel Gervais is ejected following his second caution in the 22nd minute, but Olivier Occean scores the winner just nine minutes later on a header for his first international goal. Greg Sutton posts the clean sheet.

THIS DAY IN FOOTBALL: 12 February 2003
Canada wins 4:2 over Libya in an away Men’s International Friendly match in Tripoli. It marks Canada’s second victory over an African nation at the international “A” level, albeit the first on African soil.
