Stalteri added to national team for Greece match

Canada’s men’s national team has announced that Paul Stalteri has been added to the roster for the upcoming Men’s International Match on 9 February. Stalteri was added after defender Marcel de Jong and midfielder Nik Ledgerwood pulled out because of injuries.



Stalteri plays professional soccer for Borussia Monchengladbach in Germany. Stalteri is Canada’s all-time leader in appearances, having just set the record in 2010.



The Canada-Greece match will feature the debut of the new Canada Umbro kit. The Canadian match will be broadcast live on Rogers Sportsnet One at 10.00 ET / 07.00 PT (17.00 local kick off in Larissa, Greece). The match will be preceded by a 30-minute season preview commencing at 09.30 ET / 06.30 PT. Fans will also be able to follow the match live on www.twitter.com/CanadaSoccerEN.
