Joint News Conference To Be Held On Monday

TORONTO, October 15, 2004 – York University, The Canadian Soccer Association and the Toronto Argonauts will hold a joint news conference:

TIME: 9 a.m.
LOCATION: Main Gymnasium, Tait Mckenzie Centre, York University Keele Campus

Federal minister responsible for the GTA, the Hon. Joe Volpe, York University President and Vice Chancellor, Dr. Lorna Marsden, Kevan Pipe of the Canadian Soccer Association, and representatives of the Toronto Argonauts will take part in the news conference and be available for media interviews. Following the news conference, an outdoor photo opportunity will take place adjacent to the Tait Mckenzie Centre.

From Downtown Toronto:
-North on Keele Street to Steeles Avenue – turn LEFT (WEST) onto Steeles.
-Turn LEFT at second street (south from Steeles), the Northwest Gate entrance. The Tait McKenzie Centre is directly in front of you.

MEDIA PARKING: Directly in front of Tait McKenzie Centre OR proceed to south of Centre around the traffic circle in front of the Tait McKenzie Centre, to Thompson Road on east side of Centre to the Thompson Road parking lot, located immediately south of the Tait McKenzie Centre. (See Map)
