Hart, Morace highlight OSA weekend

Canada’s technical director Stephen Hart and women’s national coach Carolina Morace highlighted the Ontario Soccer Association’s 2009 Play Soccer Conference in Ottawa, ON. Both coaches delivered on-field sessions at the weekend event which coincided with the OSA’s 109th annual general meeting.



“Both sessions were excellent,” said Peter Menyasz, Director of Coach Development at the Eastern Ontario District Soccer Association. “The sessions provided the coaches with high-quality technical information they can apply to their players.”

Morace did her session with the Kanata Soccer Club’s U-17 OYSL Girls. Morace highlighted the importance of dribbling and feinting in attack. Hart, meanwhile, worked with the Capital United Soccer Club’s U-16 OYSL Boys. He highlighted the importance of creative combinations.



Both Morace and Hart were also available for questions and answers after the sessions. Rounding out the Play Soccer coaches conference was OSA Region 5 coach Alex McNutt.
