Four Canada Soccer Referees appointed to officiate 2022 Concacaf Girls’ Under-15 Championship

Canada Soccer Referees at U15 Girls Championship

Four Canada Soccer Referees are officiating at the 2022 Concacaf Girls’ Under-15 Championship from August 1-7. Natalie Berry, Sydney Berridge, Isabelle Duclos and Shuwkia Tajik (L-R in above image) are taking charge throughout the group and knockout stages as match officials.

Natalie Berry is a provincial referee for Nova Scotia Soccer and grew up in Halifax. She is one of the youngest referees at the U15 tournament at 20 years of age. This is her first international tournament as a match official.

Sydney Berridge has been a provincial referee for BC Soccer for 3 years after growing up in Maple Ridge, BC. This is her first international tournament as a match official. 

Isabelle Duclos is a provincial referee for Quebec Soccer and has been on Canada Soccer’s NextGen Referees List since 2021. She has served as a match official for Concacaf W Championship Qualifiers and Canadian Premier League matches in the past. 

Shuwkia Tajik is a provincial referee for Saskatchewan Soccer, growing up in Saskatoon, SK. This is her first international tournament as a match official.

The 2022 Concacaf Girls’ Under-15 Championship is set to close on August 7th, with Canada Soccer’s U15 Women’s Team qualified for the semi-finals tomorrow August 5th.
