Cann added to national squad

Canada’s men’s national team has announced that Adrian Cann has been added to the roster for the upcoming Men’s International Match on 9 February. Cann was added to replace injured centre back Kevin McKenna who is unable to participate.



Cann plays professional soccer for Toronto FC of Major League Soccer. Cann’s club is already nearby in Europe, as Toronto FC is holding a pre-season camp in Turkey. Cann will join the Canadian team in advance of the 9 February match.



The Canada-Greece match will feature the debut of the new Canada Umbro kit. The Canadian match will be broadcast live on Rogers Sportsnet One at 10.00 ET / 07.00 PT (17.00 local kick off in Larissa, Greece). The match will be preceded by a 30-minute season preview commencing at 09.30 ET / 06.30 PT. Fans will also be able to follow the match live on www.twitter.com/CanadaSoccerEN.
