Made For This: Canada WNT v China PR
“The Canadian Soccer Association is pleased to be bringing our Women’s National Team to Moncton in this important pre-Olympic match,” said Peter Montopoli, General Secretary of the Canadian Soccer Association. He added that Canada qualified for London earlier this year in Vancouver and will be in its final preparation phase before heading to London when the team takes on China PR here in Moncton.
The event on 30 May will be the first Canadian match staged at Stade Moncton 2010 Stadium. The international friendly match against China PR will also be part of the Canadian Soccer Association’s Centennial celebrations, with the Association keen to share its 100th anniversary with the soccer community in Atlantic Canada.
“Our goal will be to provide an accessible and affordable soccer experience for the Atlantic Canadian soccer community and its supporters,” said Montopoli.
Tickets to the match at Stade Moncton 2010 Stadium will be available for as low $25. Group discounts of 20% will be available for purchases of ten or more tickets – reducing the price from $25 to $20. All group purchases will be organized by the Canadian Soccer Association in cooperation with its provincial partners and further details are available at the event ticket page.
Additionally, the Association is pleased to offer a family of four the opportunity to attend the match for only $85. These packages will be available exclusively through the Moncton Coliseum Box Office.
