Canada travels to St. Lucia

Canada travels to St. Lucia this Wednesday for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers™ match on Friday 7 October 2011. Canada will face St. Lucia at Beausejour Stadium in Gros Islet on Friday night, with the match kicking off at 18.00 local time (18.00 ET / 15.00 PT). This Friday marks Match Day Three for CONCACAF Stage II of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers Brazil™.

Fans are also encouraged to buy tickets to the Match Day 4 home match in Toronto against Puerto Rico on Tuesday 11 October. That home match will not only feature a live Twitter stream, but will also feature live television coverage from BMO Field on Rogers Sportsnet One.



Only one team will advance from this four-team group in CONCACAF Stage II. Canada is the group leader with six points following victories against St. Lucia and Puerto Rico in early September. Canada will also face St. Kitts and Nevis in back-to-back matches in November.
