Canada Soccer announced allegations that Forge FC and Cavalry FC failed to ensure their players and/or officials conducted themselves in an orderly fashion after the final whistle in the Canadian Championship second qualifying round on Tuesday 4 June 2019 will be heard by the Canada Soccer Disciplinary Committee. Sanctions include, but are not limited to, a financial penalty, deduction of points, and/or exclusion from the competition.

In addition Canada Soccer announced that Cavalry FC’s Jordan Brown and Forge FC’s Tristian Borges will also face separate allegations of misconduct relating to their involvement in the mass confrontation that followed the final whistle of the Canadian Championship second qualifying round on Tuesday 4 June 2019. Both players are required to respond to Canada Soccer Disciplinary Committee.
