Canada’s men’s national team has announced three additions to its roster to replace injured players from club competition. The three new players will join the team this weekend in advance of the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Qualifiers™ in Toronto and Bayamón, Puerto Rico.

Canada opens its new campaign this Friday 2 September at BMO Field in Toronto. Fans can support the national team for as little as $20, with tickets available via Ticketmaster (Ticketmaster.ca / 1-855-985-5000). Canada plays St. Lucia at home on 2 September and Puerto Rico on the road on 6 September.

The three new roster additions are Jonathan Beaulieu-Bourgault of SC Preußen Münster (Germany), David Edgar of Burnley FC (England), and Marcus Haber of St. Johnstone FC (Scotland). The trio replaces injured Dejan Jakovic, Nik Ledgerwood and Olivier Occean.

Canada opens camp on Monday 29 August in Alliston, ON. The team arrives in Toronto on Wednesday 31 August, with the Official Welcome Press Conference scheduled at the Intercontinental Bloor. The media event also serves as the official collection point for accreditation badges (starting at 15.00 ET), with special access required to attend training and match day at BMO Field during the Canadian National Exhibition.

It should also be noted that purchased tickets to the 2 September Canada match include free entrance to the Canadian National Exhibition (starting that morning at 10.00 ET). Without a ticket, fans that pay entrance to CNE can purchase a $25 match ticket for just $9 that evening (kick off at 20.00 ET).
