Canada will hold its final training session on Tuesday morning at the Stadiom Miejski im. Zdzislawa Krzyszkowiaka, the site for Wednesday’s match.

The Canadian squad has been bolstered by the arrival of forward Tomasz Radzinski and the recovery of defender Dejan Jakovic.

For Radzinski, the match will have a special meaning as Bydgozscz is just a two-hour drive from Poznan, the place of his birth.

Jakovic returned to full training on Monday as he made progress from the ankle injury which kept him out of Saturday’s clash with FYR Macedonia.

The Canada-Poland match will be the last match for Canada in 2009. Canada and Poland have not faced each other in over 20 years. The last match played between the two nations was played on 15 July 1988 in Toronto. Canada has only played on Polish soil once (Warsaw in 1974).
