Canada Suffer 3-0 Loss to USA

Canada's Women's Under-19 Team today suffered a 3-0 loss to the United States during an exhibition match in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Canada finished the three team, round-robin tournament with a win and a loss.

"This was a much better performance against one of the top Under-19 teams in the world," said head coach Ian Bridge. "Our players were well organized, disciplined and followed the game plan very well. This game was a great finish to a short camp."

Canada's Under-19 Team will regroup in Toronto at the end of May for a series of exhition matches in preparation for the FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship in August.
