The Canadian Soccer Association is pleased to announce that the Active Start Soccer Fests program is back for its 16th year! Building on a successful 2012 campaign where close to 140 clubs participated in the program from coast to coast, the Canadian Soccer Association and its national partners are once again proud to deliver the largest grassroots soccer program in the country.
Active Start Soccer Fests are a financial grant based program designed to provide resources to host a soccer celebration in your community. Clubs can apply online and, pending provincial approval, will receive a festival package which they can use to showcase their event. In addition to this, clubs will receive an event package which includes individual participation certificates and a wide array of promotional giveaways from the program’s national partners. Program partners will also visit select festivals and provide added value through increased giveaways, enriching the festival experience for all participants and festival attendees.
Visit the online application form to bring an Active Start Soccer Fest to your club. Keep in mind your club can host up to three festivals in a calendar year.
The application deadline is 28 April 2013.
The Active Start Soccer Fests website (canadasoccer.com/soccerfests) features the Canon Photo Gallery and a fun and games section. Be sure to check in on the partner promotions section of the site for regular updates on the great contests throughout the 2013 season.
On behalf of the Canadian Soccer Association and all of its partners we look forward to working with you to make your event a memorable and fun experience for all!
