Ottawa, Ontario - The draw for the inaugural FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship was held today at 10:00 p.m. MT time at FIFA House in Zurich, Switzerland, with Canada drawing Denmark, Japan, and Nigeria in Group A. Commonwealth Stadium, in Edmonton, will play home to Canada and Group A during the Championship. During the draw, the 12 finalists were divided into three groups of four, with the first two winners of each pool contesting the quarter-finals along with the two best third-place teams. The final will be played on September 1 at 2:00 in Commonwealth Stadium, Edmonton.
