Jubilee Trophy Final headlines upcoming Day 5 action at Canada Soccer’s 2018 Toyota National Championships

 

Semi-Final matchups are in place across the 2018 Toyota National Championships U-15 and U-17 Cup competitions in Laval, QC and Surrey, BC. At the Challenge Trophy, teams continue to fight for the top of their group to ensure a place in Gold Medal matches on Teck Finals Day on 8 October. In addition, Saskatoon, SK will host Ontario and British Columbia in the Jubilee Trophy Final on Day 5 on 7 October.

 


 

Ontario’s Scarborough GS United will face Surrey United SC of British Columbia in the Gold Medal match at the Jubilee Trophy. Royal-Sélect Beauport will face Holy Cross in the Third Place match. Edmonton Victoria faces Halifax Dunbrack SC in the fifth-place match. Fredericton Picaroons Reds face Saskatoon SK Impact FC for seventh place.

 

British Columbia and Ontario lead the way at the Challenge Trophy competition. Surrey BC Tigers Hurricanes lead in Group A and Caledon SC remains atop Group B after Day 4. The top teams in each group qualify for the Gold Medal match of the Challenge Trophy competition on Teck Finals Day on 8 October.

Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia teams have qualified for U-17 Cup Semi-Final matches at the 2018 Toyota National Championships. In Girls U-17 Cup Semi-Finals, Coastal FC will face Burlington Bayhawks SC and Lakeshore SC will face Suburban FC for a chance to play in the Gold Medal match on Teck Finals Day on 8 October. Surrey United SC and CS Saint-Laurent, and Coquitlam Metro-Ford and Vaughan SC make up the Semi-Finals in the Boys U-17 Cup.

Ontario, Quebec and Alberta led the way in U-15 Cup action on Day 5 from Laval, QC. Teams from all three provinces qualified on both sides of the competition.

 

At the Boys U-15 Cup, Woodbridge Strikers from Ontario will face Winnipeg Bonivital and Panellionios Montreal FC will face Edmonton Warriors SC in the Semi-Finals. Mountain United will face Calgary South West United while Cumberland United SC Cobras and Lakeshore FC earned Semi-Final berths at the Girls U-15 Cup. The winning teams will play in the Gold Medal matches on Teck Finals Day on 8 October.
