U-18 Boys: Consistent scores across all matches in evenly matched Day One
The opening day of men's competition at the 2012 Canadian Soccer Association National Championships U-18 Cup ended after four close matches all concluded in a 2:0 result. All four matches were played on Wednesday 3 October in Sydney, NS.
British Columbia's Coquitlam FC defeated Alberta's Chinook United thanks to goals by Adam Jones and Andre Clerc. Ontario’s Erin Mills Eagles, meanwhile, won 2:0 over Nova Scotia's Halifax City. The star of the match for Erin Mills was Raheem Edwards who scored both goals.
Manitoba's FC Northwest beat Newfoundland Labrador's St. John's with goals by Brendan Rattai and Stephan Melo. Québec's Longueuil won 2:0 over New Brunswick's FC Chaleur after Andy Javier Vialta and Mamadi Camara put their names to the match sheet with a goal apiece.
