Canada's Youth (U-20) Development Team earned a 4-0 win over MSV Moers on April 19 in their first of three exhibition game during a training camp in Germany.
Wyn Belotte led the Canadians with two goals while Alex Chursky and Andy Garcia also tallied. Canada will now play a two-game series against the German Under-18 national team.
"This was a game thoroughly dominated by Canada," said Canadian head coach Dale Mitchell. "It could have been a larger deficit but Belotte hit a post and the crossbar. Now we will focus our attention on a much more difficult opponent. The German U-18 team has beaten France once and has lost once to France and Italy this year."
