Notes

a three-time Dominion Cup winner with the Westminster Royals as a player (1928, 1930, 1931) and a two-time winner as team manager (1953 and 1955)... wrote Andy Lytle for the Vancouver Sun of the 1931 Dominion championship, “Winnipeg critics rank him the best in the Dominion on his series showing”... in 1950, his 1929 team Westminster Royals was named Canadian soccer’s “Best in 50 Years” in a poll by The Canadian Press... was in fact the first Dominion of Canada champion who went on to become president of the Canadian Soccer Association (1969)... worked as comptroller at Cunningham’s Drug Stores... he was 79 years old when he passed away in Vancouver, BC on 5 January 1985...

played for Sapperton... played for Westminster Royals (1928-35)... won the 1928 Challenge Trophy with the Westminster Royals in the Connaught Cup Series at the Dominion of Canada championship on 2 August 1928 in Winnipeg (3:2 win, 1:2 loss and 6:1 win over CNR Montréal)... won the 1930 Challenge Trophy with Westminster Royals at the Canadian national championship in Winnipeg, MB (1:0 win, 0:5 loss and 1:0 win over CNR Montréal)... won the 1931 Challenge Trophy with Westminster Royals at the Canadian national championship in Winnipeg, MB (2:0 and 3:0 wins over Toronto Scottish)...

served as secretary of the Westminster Royals... served as a vice president of the Canadian Soccer Association (1964-68), then known as the Canadian Soccer Football Association... served as the 24th president of the Canadian Soccer Association (1969-71), then known as the Canadian Soccer Football Association...
