Thomas George Elliott... was in fact the first Canadian-born president of the Canadian Soccer Association (then known as the DCFA), although is term was short lived because of the breakout of the Second World War... worked for Babcock and Willcox in Galt.... worked for the GM Company in Galt... he was 81 years old when he passed away on 23 December 1961 in Galt, ON...
