CONCACAF announced today the complete schedule for the upcoming 2008 CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship. All eight teams play three games each in five days before four teams advance to the semi-finals on 25 June and the final matches on 28 June. All games for the 17-28 June tournament take place at the Estadio Cuauhtémoc in Puebla, México.
Canada, whose title sponsor is Winners, plays Nicaragua on 17 June (13.00), Jamaica on 19 June (13.00), and Costa Rica on 21 June (14.30).

Canada wraps up men's U-20 camp
Canada’s men’s U-20 team wrapped up a successful May camp this weekend with a 1:1 draw against six-time world champions Argentina. In what was this age group’s first camp in 2008, the team had one week together in Toronto under head coach Ray Clark.
“Although time was limited to some degree in preparing for the Argentina game, the response from the players was first class,” says interim coach Ray Clark. “They relished the opportunity to play against the reigning world champions and they deserve to be credited for their decent performance against a good team.” [More]

Canada-Panama match moved to Florida

Canada’s men’s national team announced today both a date and venue change to its June friendly with Panama. The two countries will now meet on 4 June 2008 in Fort Lauderdale, FL, United States. The match was originally schedule for 6 June in Panama City. The match will be closed to the public.
Canada has a busy schedule leading up to Stage II of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa(tm) Qualifers. The team will group in the United States in late May before friendly matches on 31 May in Seattle (against Brasil) and 4 June in Fort Lauderdale (against Panama). [More]
